‘Baghaawat-1972’ was directed by B. Vithhalacharya for ‘Sagar Films, Madras’. It was a ‘costume drama’ genre film. The cast of this movie had Jayalalitha, NT Ramarao, Devika, Rajnala, Prabhakar Reddy, Allu Ramalingaiah, Tyagraj, Hemlata, Raj Babu and others.
Geet Kosh lists six songs for this movie which are all penned by Prem Dhawan and composed to music by TV Raju. Playback singers for this movie are Asha Bhonsle, S Janaki, and Manna Dey.
