“Puraskaar” (1970) was produced and directed by Ram Kumar. This movie had Joy Mukherjee, Sapna, Fariyal, Abhi Bhattacharya, Farida Jalal, Mahendra, Nigar Sultana, Helen, I. S. Johar, Bipin Gupta, Ram Kumar etc in it. This movie may not be remembered today, but it was quite an interesting movie as Memsaab found.

“Inspector” seems to be a popular title in Hindi movies of 1950s and later. One movie of this name was produced in 1956 and another movie of the same title was released in 1970. Both these movies ended up becoming obscure quickly enough.

Though I have not watched “Love In Shimla” (1960) but I have gained enough information about the movie by watching the picturisation of various songs of the movie and by going through the comments of readers who have clearly watched the movie. 🙂
