Our Blog has achieved a substantial milestone of completing 20000 posts with Sudhir ji’s post on a rare song, gham kaa banoge nishaana. When I had joined the bandwagon sometime in July 2011, the Blog had just completed 4000 songs in about 3 years. At that time, I had never imagined that the Blog would attain even a milestone of 10000 articles because it would have been a long haul during which the interest of the owner of the Blog (Atul ji) and the guest writers may wane because they may have to prioritise other important commitments. In the event, I have been proved wrong. Over the period of time, not only Atul ji has been keeping his interest in the Blog intact, but more guest writers have also joined the bandwagon making Atul ji’s posts appearing more as a ‘guest’ post while some of the guest writers have turned regular contributors on a voluntary basis. Furthermore, there is a phenomenal increase to the visitors of the Blog which is currently in the threshold of crossing 18 million in 18 years, that is, an average of one million a year.

Hullo Atuldom
19th July. The birth-date of our blog. The blog completes 10+2 years of uninterrupted posting of songs and write ups that give details about the movie, lyricist, music director, actors, etc. Also we can find the synopsis of the concerned movies here on the blog. What we get here is also accurate lyrics for all the songs posted. And if the song is a multi-version song even that is mentioned here along with the lyrics for the second version too, even if there is no change in the wordings of the song.

Sunny (1984) got released after Sunny Deol’s debut Betaab. The producer, his father himself, wanted to cash on the success of Betaab, for which he repeated the team again. Unfortunately this time the success didn’t repeat itself. Unfortunately, with the film also sank the wonderful musical score by R D Burman.

Hai tere saath meri wafaa

Most people will agree that one Priya Rajwansh is more than enough for one movie. But Chetan Anand obviously did not think so. In “Hindustan Ki Kasam” (1973), she plays double role. In this movie, she plays two sisters separated at childhood (what an original idea ! 🙂 ). One girl ends up in India and grows up with Indian parents, whereas the other girl ends up in Pakistan and grows up with Pakistani parents.
