Here is the ‘U’ song in the series of A-Z of Rafi songs. I knew this song vaguely, but when looking for ‘U” song in the list, I could not recognize it. I decided to try it because it is a Rafi solo composed by Shankar-Jaikishan. I heard the whole song and picturization, I liked the energy and mischief in the composition. The lyricist is Hasrat Jaipuri.

Today (2 september 2013) is the birth anniversary of Sadhana, the heart throb of movie goers in 1960s, whose “Sadhana cut” hairstyle was a big craze those days.
