“Navrang”, a musical blockbuster from 1958 had some awesome songs, one of which “aadha hai chandrama raath aadhi” has already appeared in this blog. Here is another fabulous song from “Navrang” sung by Manna Dey and Asha Bhonsle. Bharat Vyas was an expert lyricist, and C Ramchandra was the music director of this movie. Together they have created this memorable song.

I have mentioned in a few previous songs picturised on Sandhya that she rarely got an “easy” song. Unlike other leading ladies who mostly needed to just lip sync or act coy, Sandhya was called upon to perform some unbelievable tasks in the songs, in addition to singing.
