“Mohabbat Zindagi Hai” (1966) is a movie starring Dharmendra, Rajashree, Nazir hussain, Mehmood, Chaand Usmani etc. It is a lesser known movie as far as I am concerned, but this movie has some nice songs in it.

It is a coincidence that the movies whose songs I am discussing today bear the same name as that of later day movies that I am more familiar with. Thus I discussed a song of “Heer Ranjha” (1948) and then “Sangam” (1954) while most people are more familiar with these movies of later vintage, viz “Heer Ranjha” (1970) and “Sangam” (1964) respectively. Likewise, when one talks of “Abhimaan”, the name of 1973 movie may come to the minds of most, including myself. But there was another movie of the same name that was produced in 1957.
