And all the music she has created is wonderfully hummable and still tingles the heart when one of her songs is played. The 1965 film, ‘Ek Sapera Ek Lutera’ is no different. Practically all the songs of this film went on to become very popular, although the movie itself was a B grade production, and did just OK on the box office. “Raat Andheri Thhi” (1967) is a B grade movie about which very little is known these days. Theinformation that I have been able to gather about this movie tells me that this movie had Feroz Khan, Sheikh Mukhtar, Lolita Chaterjee & Helen in it, which makes it an archtypical B grade movie of the 1960s. These movies had Sheikh Mukhtraa playing the same kind of roles that would later be played by amitabh Bachchan in this angrey young man movies. Sheikh Mukhtar would use his bulky figure for strongarm tactics, and he would leave the task of singing and dancing to the chocolate faced side hero of the movie, which happens to be Feroz Khan in this movie.
