This song is from circa 1970s, picturised on Sanjeev Kumar and Sharmila Tagore on a hill station. Do you say “mausam” ? Think again.
This song is from a movie that was released one year prior to “mausam”. Lata Mangeshkar is indeed the female singer, but the male singer here is Kishore Kumar, and the music director is R D Burman. For the record, R D Burman could do no wrong in those days. But the same could not be said about the makers of the movies in which he gave music.
