It is a time pass song, but the lyrics are not written casually. It has been a labour of love.
I recall what you said about lyricists not getting their dues in getting appreciated. Look at these lyrics, and one can see that their contribution in popularising the songs was second to none.

Kindly correct the tag for ‘lyricist’s name’ as ‘Sahir Ludhianvi’ (in place of Sahir), as done for all the songs written by him.

Lovely song..lovely movie…total time-pass.
It may look like this song is a serious one but actually in the movie, it is part of a “light” scene.
Nutan , one of my favourite actresses anyway, looks really beautiful in this song. Her blush and smile….mashallah.
