Bombay to Goa

on:“Bombay to Goa”(1972) which had a gawky looking Amitabh Bachchan playing hero was carried on the shoulders of Mahmood, and other comedians.
The entire action in this movie takes place aboard a bus that is going from Bombay to Goa.
Kishore Kumar makes a cameo appearance in this movie. Playing himself, he boards the bus for a brief while and sings the theme song of this movie.
It is a short song, barely two minutes long, and this song did not become much popular. But this song has a good catchy tune. R D Burman is the music director and Rajinder Krishan wrote the lyrics.
Incidentally, Mehmood , who gave Amitabh Bachchan his first break as a hero in Bollywood, was also the person who gave R D Burman his first break as a music director. That way, Mehmood can rightfully take credit for introducing two legends of Bollywood.
Song- Bombay to Goa (Bombay to Goa) (1972) Singer-Kishore Kumar, Lyrics-Rajinder Krishan, MD-R D Burman
