Thanks Nahm. My MOST FAV RAFI SONG. This one I can listen everyday, any number of times. Will send these links to my brother in Mumbai. He is a gr8 Bhakt of Rafi saab, and is the one responsible for my devotion to this great singer and human being. Thanks a million. 🙂

I would like to share some informations with my fellow readers that the originally the song was recorded in the voice of Manmohan Krishna ji who happened to be a good singer. Later on it was recorded or dubbed
in Rafi saab’s voice. Manmohan Krishna used to anchor a musical programme called “Cadbury Phoolwari” on Radio Ceylon.I was a participant playing ‘bul bul Tarang’

गीत में अविरल आगे बढ़ते जाने का आवाहन भी है और परितोष एवं सब्र क्या होता है इसका दर्शन भी है ।
जब लिखने वाले साहिर हों तो कुछ ऐसे ही हकीकत से ओत-प्रोत जज्बातों का दरिया बहना तो लाजमी है ।
मदन मोहन ने इस गीत की धुन में, गीत के इस वर्शन में दौड़ती रेलगाड़ी की रफ्तार के साथ जो ताल ठोकी है वो कर्णप्रिय होने के साथ साथ सुनने वाले को उसी रफ्तार से अपने साथ बहाकर ले जाने में भी सक्षम है । खासकर तेजी से बजते मैंडोलिन के छोटे टुकड़े तो बेमिसाल हैं ।
अफसोस ! मदन मोहन और साहिर का साथ हमें यहां पर और ‘गजल’ फिल्म के अलावा ओर कहीं नहीं मिला वरना शायद कई और पन्ने हिंदी फिल्मों के सुनहरे युग की किताब में जुड़ जाते ।
ये गीत शुरू में हीरो मनमोहन कृष्ण की आवाज में रिकार्ड हुआ और पिक्चराइज् भी हुआ पर बाद में इसे रफी साहब की आवाज मे डब किया गया या गवाया गया ।
पूरा गीत दौड़ती ट्रेन और इसके मुसाफिरों के साथ फिल्माया गया है जो दौड़ती जिंदगी का भी परिचायक है । गीत के अंत में डिब्बे का अंदर का दृश्य जिसमें सोते और ऊंघते सुनील दत्त को पहली बार दर्शकों ने फिल्मी परदे पर देखा ।

Vividhbharati song,Is geet ko koi bhi sacha listner kaise bhool sakta hai….ek ek shabd,ek ek piece sangeet ka,dil ,aur dimaag ke andar record kiya hua hai,mujhe yaad hai aise bahut log hain JINHONE apni zindagi men PAHLA hindi geet YE GEET suna, aur hindi geeton ke deewaane ho gaye.AAJ TAK WOH DEEWANE HAIN.
