“Dharmputra” (1961) was a movie with a difference as it was a movie with a message made on a socially relevant topic. The fact that the movie did not do well does not detract from the relevance of the message.
This movie also had great songs that may not have set Binaca geetmala paaydaans on fire, but these songs are supeb songs meant for the classes , rather than the masses.
