Jee chaahta hai ab to duniya se roothh jaayen

The Kidar Sharma-directed Jhaanjar (1953) was a joint venture of music director C Ramchandra and actor Om Prakash under the banner of New Sai Productions. Despite a star cast comprising Motilal, Kamini Kaushal, Om Prakash, Sajjan, Usha Kiran, KN Singh, Sunder, Protima Devi and Sheela Naik, it bombed at the box-office. But its melodies have survived the ravages of time.

My favourite from this movie is the poignantly sweet dirge penned by the great Kidar Sharma (1910-99), and the anguish of unrequited love so feelingly vocalized by Lataji only as she can: Jee chaahta hai ab to duniya se rooth jaayen.
The movie itself or the video clips of its numbers are not available on the Internet or even otherwise, as far as I know). But I would imagine it most likely filmed on Kamini Kaushal or on Usha Kiran.
