“Aas” (1953), not to be confused with “Aah” (1953), was a Goel Cine Corporation movie. It was produced and directed by Devendra Goel. The movie had Kamini Kaushal, Shekher, Om Prakash, Gulab, Chanda Bai, Master Ramesh Kapoor, S. K. Prem, Krishna Mukut, Laxmi Bai, Pratibha Rele, Vishnu Mehrotra, Baby Ya Ya etc in it.
As many as four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is another song from the movie. Picturisation of the song shows Kamini Kaushal, alongwith her baby thrown out of her house into the streets. She wanders around the town helplessly while this song plays in the background lamenting the fact that good people suffer in this world, while bad people enjoy themselves.
The song is sung by Lata. Hasrat Jaipuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shankar Jaikishan.

Most Populer song of those days,so populer that my mom who was housewife ,used to sing this song,in house,particulerly,pera PAAPI KO AARAM JAGAT MEIN PAAPI KO AARAM….in my opinion S.J. brand
does not seem in this song.Lataji AS USUAL is marvellouse.

Wow! Priyanka Chopra just debuted on NFL Network during packers/bears game singing her song wearing a packers jersey! Heavy promotion by an Indian during a major football game in USA….Would be doing the same for the entire season…..
