“Gaban” (1966) was a B J Production movie. It was produced by B N Sonthalia and R K sorel and directed by Krishan Chopra and Hrishikesh Mukherjee. The movie had Sunil Dutt, Sadhana, Zeb Rehman, Minoo Mumtaz, Agha, Kanhaiyalal, Anwar Hussain, Badri Prasad, Leela Mishra, P. Kailash, Pratima Devi, Kamal Kapoor, Misra, Sarita Devi, B. B. Bhalla, Brahm Bhardwaj, Surekha Pandit, R K Soral, Ravikant, Kailash Kumar, Sushil Kumar, Sandeep, Mohsin Abdullah, Haroon, Laxmi Arya, R S Dubey, Meenakshi, Saroj Banerjee, Mehar Banu, C. S. Here is a song from “Gaban” (1966). This song, which is a “mehandi” song, is sung by Lata and it is picturised on several sahelis of the wood be bride. I was unable to identify the familiar looking lady lip syncing the song in Lata’s voice, and then I realised that she was none other than Sadhana. It was just that she was without her trademark Sadhana cut hairstyle.
