Aaye hain din saawan ke

“Rimjhim”(1949) was a Hindustan Cine Production movie. It was directed by Ramesh Gupta and Sushr Sahu. The movie had Kishore Sahu, Mubarak, Ramola, Mohana, Jankidas, A. Shah, Narmada Shanker, Amir Banu, Mumtaz Ali etc in it.
Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from the movie.
This song is a bidaai song which is sung by Shamshad Begam, Shanti Sharma and Hamida Bano. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by Khemchand Prakash.
Only the audio of this song is available and so it is difficult to say how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
Shamshad Begam’s voice is distinct and well known, whereas I am not much familiar with the voices of the other two singers. So my colour coding in case of the other two singers may not be correct. Knowledgeable readers familiar with these voices are requested to point out the errors in colour coding, if any. Shanti Sharma in fact appears to be a new entry for this blog, unless she has other songs with some other name in the blog.
I notice that this song is the 200th song by Bharat Vyas in the blog. So he reaches this milestone in the blog almost unnoticeably.
Song-Aaye hain din saawan ke(Rimjhim)(1949) Singers-Shamshad Begam, Shanti Sharma, Hamida Banu, Lyrics-Bharat Vyas, MD-Khemchand Prakash

Lyrics
aaye hain din saawan ke
aaye hain din saawan ke
sajan se milan ke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke
aaye hain din saawan ke
sajan se milan ke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke
nainon mein kajra
haathon mein gajra
nainon mein kajra
haathon mein gajra
gaalon pe phoolon ki laali
gaalon pe phoolon ki laali
jaadoo bhari tori ankhiyaan raseeli
haan ankhiyaan raseeli
haan ankhiyaan raseeli
jaadoo bhari tori ankhiyaan raseeli
jaisi ras ki pyaali ee ee
jaisi ras ki pyaali ee ee
maathe pe bindiya damke

chamaacham chamke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke
aaye hain din saawan ke
sajan se milan ke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke
nainon mein bhar kar
dil ki umang nayi
dil ki umang nayi
dil ki umang nayi
nainon mein bhar kar
dil ki umang nayi
bholi dulhan sharmaayi
bholi dulhan sharmaayi
baagon mein bulbul
bole ke aaj koi
bole ke aaj koi
bole ke aaj koi
baagon mein bulbul
bole ke aaj koi
hone chali hai paraayi ee ee
hone chali hai paraayi ee ee
chaand sa jhoomar chhanke
chaand sa jhoomar chhanke
painjaniya thhumke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke
aaye hain din saawan ke
sajan se milan ke
dulhan chali
saajan ghar ban thhan ke

200 songs and counting >>>Bharat Vyas ki kalpana ka ye chamatkar hai famous for using minimum Urdu words which is a tall order; still he managed. The song Arunji mentioned above is not available on the Net.

The singer of this song is not Shanti Sharma, another singer named Shanti. She seems to be an actor in some films, and a playback singer in others ones. Her last films were in the early sixties. She also was a lyricist for a movie in 1944. I think this song from Rimjhim is picturised on Ramola, Ameer Bano, and Mohana Cabral
