“Agreement” (1980) was produced by Jogender Singh and directed by Anil Ganguly. The movie had Rekha, Utpal Dutt, Shailendra Singh, Aruna Irani, Sujit Kumar, Bindu, Nandita Thakur,
Farita Boyce, Piloo .J.Wadia, Sheetal, M.M.Baig, Harish Magon, Dinesh Hingoo, Viju Khote, Taneja, Prem Kumar, Preetam, Master Sandeep, Shaukat, Kailash, Sunil, Suresh, Deepak.A.A., Sundar, Purohit etc in it.
Today (4 october 2013) is the birth anniversary of Shailendra Singh. On this occasion, here is a song from “Agreement” which is sung by him. The song is picturised on him as well, with Rekha, Utpal Dutt, Asrani and Harish Magon also appearing in the picturisation.

Where is he ? He is a classic example of a career gone stray. Just imagine he started with R K Films and had the stupidity to leave that opportunity and try his hand in acting ! I wish he had remained a voice of Rishi Kapoor, today he would have been on top….It is really difficult to hold your head when success comes immediately!
