“Parineeta” (1953) was produced by Ashok Kumar and directed by Bimal Roy. The movie was based on Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay’s novel of the same name. The movie had Asit Baran, Nazeer Hussain, Baby Sheela, Badri Prasad, Protima Devi, Rekha, Manju, Manorama, S Bannerjee, Om Prakash, Samar Chatterjee, Colin Pal, Gunjan, Radheshyam, Bhupen Kapoor, Vikram Kapoor, Baby Rehana etc in it.
The movie had six songs in it. Five of these songs have been discussed in the past. Here is the sixth and final song from the movie. This song is sung by Asit Baran and picturised on him as well. Bharat Vyas is the lyricist. Music is composed by Arun Kumar Mukherji.
