“Ek Nazar” (1951) was directed by O P Datta for Kuldip Pictures production. The movie had Nalini Jaywant, Karan Dewan, Gope, Kuldip Kaur, Raj Mehra, Randhir, Rehman etc in it.

Three songs from “Ek Nazar” (1951) have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from the movie. This song is sung by Talat Mehmood. Rajinder Krishan is the lyricist. Music is compose by S D Burman.

The song is picturised on Karan Dewan as far as I can tell. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the artist lipsyncing this song.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.

Song-Ye aansoo khushi ke aansoo hain (Ek Nazar)(1951) Singer-Talat Mehmood, Lyrics-Rajinder Krishan, MD-S D Burman

Lyrics (Provided by nahm)

lutaa de apni ee ee
khushi khushi se ae
ae dil
ye qismat ka hai ishaaraa
ke teri naiyya ke doobne se
ae ae ae ae ae ae
kisi ko mil jaayegaa aa
kinaaraa

ye aansoo khushi ke aansoo hain
dil khushi ke maare rotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir behtaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir behtaa hai
wo aansoo moti hotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir

ulfat ki khushi ko thukraa ke
ae ae
le lena dard judaayi kaa
le lena dard judaayi kaa
yoon bhi ulfat ki jaati hai
yoon bhi ulfat ki jaati hai
aur pyaar aise bhi hotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir behtaa hai
wo aansoo moti hotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir

ek dil mein andheraa hone se
ae ae
hote hain agar do dil raushan
hote hain agar do dil raushan
fariyaad na kar ae mere dil
fariyaad na kar ae mere dil
hone de agar yoon hotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir behtaa hai
wo aansoo moti hotaa hai
jo khushi ki khaatir

What a surprise! You are right this time!! Don’t afraid every time.
The artiste is, popularly known at that time, as ‘Karun’ Dewan !!

A very good song to listen.
Thanks.
The title line of the song is repeated twice, but written once in the lyrics. Please correct/add.
Talat-SBD combo was a class apart.
