“Bhai Bahan” (1950) was produced by Krishna M and directed by Ram Daryani. The movie had Geeta Bali, Nirupa Roy, K N Singh, Prem Adeeb, Bharat Bhushan, Gope, Jeewan, Kukku etc in it.

Here is a song from the movie which is sung by Talat Mehmood. Raja Mehdi Ali Khan is the lyricist. Music is composed by Shyam Sundar
Only the audio of this song is available and it is not known how and on whom this song is picturised. It is clear from the lyrics that it is a bidaai song, and that too one of the oldest bidaai songs in Hindi movies, as far as I can tell.
I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.

Thanks Nitinji and Atulji for this post. A rare gem of bidaai song genre.
As per my knowledge Talat Mehmood was the first and the only singer of his generation who never tried to copy first generation singers like Sehgal Saab, Pankaj Millick, KC Dey Karan Diwan etc while all singers of that time whether Rafi, Mukesh, Manna Dey, Kishore or GM Durrani, CH Atma etc all of them did so. Also Lataji and Ashaji and Geetaji and Suraiyyaji also copied Noorjahan, Shamshad Begum, Amirbai Karnataki, Johtabai Ambalewlai, Rajkumariji etc.
Talat Mehmood always used single style of singing for all songs and all situations and for all characters which leads to shorten his professional career in HFM. With the emergence of Rafi Saab with rendering in different voices for different Characters and Situations Talat Saab era declined whereas he was the topmost singer during 1951 to 1955. BTW he later continued his art through NFS and Private Albums and concerts.
