“Hamaari Manzil”(1949) was directed by O P Datta for Famous Pictures Limited, Bombay. This movie had Nirupa Roy, Prem Adeeb, Gope, Yashodhara Katju, Badri Prasad, Faizi, Gyani, Randhir, Raj Mehra, Mishra, Niranjan Sharma etc in it.
The movie had eight songs in it. six songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Here is the seventh song from “Hamaari Manzil”(1949) to appear in the blog. The song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Qamar Jalalabadi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Husnlal Bhagatram.

One can clearly notice the resemblence of this tune with the blockbuster tune of Badi Behan, viz. “wo paas rahen ya door rahen”, also composed by the same music director duo.

I do not agree, Nitinbhai.
This was the period I was connected with the Industry and such tunes were appreciated as the Husnalal Bhagatram trademark tunes and were widely discussed too.
