“Bahaadur” (1953) was directed by Ratibhai Punatkar for Ranjit Movietone, Bombay. The movie had Suresh, Shyama, Roopmala, Amarnath, Anwar Hussein, Shammi, Rajendra Singh, Ibrahim, Prem Kumar, Moti Sood etc in it.
This movie had eight songs in it that were written by six lyricists and the songs had five voices in them. Five of these songs have been covered in the blog. That leaves us to cover three songs that unsurprisingly are rare song which are not easily available.
Here is the sixth song from “Bahaadur”(1953). This song is sung by Ashima Bannerji. Surjeet Sethi is the lyricist. Music is composed by S Mohinder.
Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw light on the picturisation of this song.
