“Jungle Mein Mangal” (1972) was produced and directed by Rajendra Bhatia for Kiron Productions. The movie had Pran(in double role), Kiran Kumar, Reena Roy, Narendranath, Jayshree T, Meena T, Sonia Sahni, Balraj Sahni(in a special appearance), Upendra Trivedi, Aravind Trivedi, Meena Roy,Jagadish Raj, Chaman Puri, Birbal, Bharat Kapoor, Padma Khanna,Chandrashekhar, Gulshan Bawra, Paintal, V.Gopal, Krishan Dhawan, Sono, H L Pardesi, Yogesh Chhabra, Bhatnagar, Menon, Shashi Kiron, Rajni Gupta, Ashok Tanki, Chanda Bai, Arpana, Mona Saxena, Uma Khosla, Prem, Neel Oberoi,Rajan Verma, Prematesh Mehta, Bhanumati, Hari Yogesh etc in it.
“Jungle Mein Mangal” (1972) had seven songs in it, including a multiple version song. Five songs (including the multiple version song) have been covered in the past.
Here is the sixth song from the movie to appear in the blog. This song is sung by Asha Bhonsle. Neeraj and Hasrat Jaipuri jointly penned all the songs of this movie. Shankar Jaikishan were the music directors.
This song is picturised on Padma Khanna and Pran, both sporting rather unusual looks. I hope I have identified Padma Khanna accurately.
