Here is a another duet, which is rare in the sense few people might have heard it. It is from a film called “Fariyaad” (1964). A few songs from this film are posted in the blog. This music of this film is composed by Snehal Bhatkar, and this song is written by Kedar Sharma. As I see in the list of songs moviewise three songs are already posted. “Qawwali Ki Raat” (1964) is a Durgesh Productions movie. It was directed by Durgesh Kumar and Santosh. This movie, which was clearly inspired from “Barsaat Ki Raat” has some lovely songs in it, which are great to listen to, even though the movie itself was a B grade movie with only small time actors in it, viz. Aruna Irani, Kamaljeet, Kumkum, Mumtaz, Deven Verma, Mohan Choti, Jagdeep, Murad etc in it.
