“Insaaf” (1946), by now a forgotten movie, was directed by Phani Majumdar. If imdb is to be believed then David was the main and only actor in this movie. 🙂 I have since discovered that the movie had Swarnlata and Navin Yagnik too, who were apparently the lead pair in the movie.

From the little that is available on internet, it would seem that this movie was directed by Mahesh Chandra and this movie had Ratnamala and Umakant in it (and not necessarily as the lead pair of the movie).
