“Sambandh” (1969) was a movie based on a Bangla novel. This movie had Pradeep Kumar,Deb Mukherji,Anjana Manjrekar (later Anjana Mumtaz),Sulochana etc in it. The movie was produced by Shashdhar Mukherji to launch the acting career of his son Deb Mukherji, just as he had helped launch the career of his eldest son Joy Mukherji one decade back with a home production movie, viz ‘Love in Shimla” (1960).
