There are a few great movies in 1950s whose songs were hugely popular in 1950s. One was “jhaanjhar” and other was “Jhamela”. The prints of these movies were lost in a fire and we no longer have any prints of these movies.

I thought that Saira Bano was the first “bold” heroine who had appeared in a bathroom song in a Bollywood movie. I was wrong. She was beaten in it by another actress by more than a decade.

Chitragupta is known as a music director, but just like a few other fellow music directors, he too had come to Bombay hoping to make it big as a singer, rather than as a music director.
