The other day a song “na toofan se khelo na saahil se khelo” from the film (Udan Khatola-1955) was posted in the blog. It was 2-3 days later that I saw that song video and heard the song. I had heard it before and but dont remember seeing it before. Having seen that movie long back on Doordarshan. ‘O door ke musafir ham ko bhi saath le le re’ and ‘ dil ka salaam le jaa ulfat ka jaam lejaa’ are the songs which I recognise as from this film. Rest few songs I know but could not associate from this film.

After the Talkie films got established and enjoyed a good response from public, more people entered the business, more films were made and naturally more actors and actresses were needed. There was no problem in getting good, educated and talented actors. Problem was getting good, educated and talented actresses.

“Albeli” (1955), not to be confused with “Albela” (1951) was Produced and directed by Devendra Goel. The movie had Pradeep Kumar, Geeta Bali, Om Prakash, Johnny Walker, Tun Tun, Randhir, Brij, Ranjana Shukla, Yogendra, Robin Kumar, Rajen Kapoor, Meena, Gareeb Kumar, Kaisar Usmani, Ranjeet, Rama Sharma etc in it.

“Tatar Ka Chor” (1955) was an M P Production movie. It was directed by Majnu. The movie had Shyama, Mahipal, Vijay Lakshmi, Chandrashekhar, Maruti, Yashodhara Katju, Gope, Sheikh, Indira, Tuntun, Rajan Kapoor, Shetty, Mohd Ali, Verma, Sattar, Hanuman, Rafiq, Shafi, Ramavtar, Zakhmi, Kamal etc in it.
