Shammi Kapoor’s era lasted for the entire 1960s and “Prince” could well be called his last successful movie. His two subsequent movies as a hero (“Pagla Kahin Ka” and “Jawaan Mohabbat” did not do well).

Kishore Kumar has sung some wonderful songs for leading heroes viz. Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Amitabh Bachchan. Though Vinod Khanna never achieved the same stature as the earlier mentioned stars, Vinod Khanna too was in contention for the top spot for much of 1970s before he threw it all away for Rajneesh.

In Bollywood movies, only hero and heroine seem to have tender feelings seeing that only they get to sing romantic songs. Villains on the other hand seem to have hearts made of granite and they do not have any tender feelings of love etc.

“Lahu ke do rang” is a movie that would be loved by Helen’s fans. Here she plays a long and important role. Similarly, this movie would be loved by the fans of Vinod Khanna, Danny and Ranjeet too. Yes, all these baddies ( Vinod Khanna had become a hero by that time, though) are present in this movie.
