‘V’ song in this series is from the obscure film ” Lutera “(1955). Only the excel sheet of Rafi songs is having some information that Music Director is C. Ramchandra and lyricist is Rajendra Krishan. The sheet also has the info that it is picturized on Naseer Khan and Jabeen. As per the songs listed on myswar.com, there are total eight songs in the film. And this is the first song to be posted here.

The shock of news was too much to digest yesterday. I was browsing this blog, when Nahm Bhai’s brief message appeared in the comments. I couldn’t believe. Just very recently, I had read an interview in the newspapers. And the Yahoo-man seemed to be set to go on forever. Age seemed never to have touched his spirit. “Bedard Zamaanaa Kyaa Jaane” (1959) was a B grade movie starring Ashok Kumar, Nirupa Roy,Sudesh Kumar, Jabeen Jaleel etc. This movie is quite significant from music point of view. It was with this movie that Kalyanji Veerji Shah made his debut as an independent music director. Till then, he was assisting to other senior music directors viz Hemant Kumar etc. After another movie (Madaari), Kalyanji was joined by his younger brother Anandji and they formed the by now legendary musical partnership known as Kalyanji Anandji.
