It is generally seen in many cases, when the nature or misfortune or destiny, inflict a handicap on a person, then the same nature itself will nurtures another aspect, another ability of that person and bestow another sensory gift to the individual. The one thing that always fascinates me about her, is her eyes. In all the Hindi films that I have seen, and a couple of her Bangla films, the memory that stays in the mind is that of a very beautiful face, adorned with the loveliest of eyes that I can remember. Large, round, full of expressions of life. It is as if the term doe-eyed was coined just for her.

“Mamta” (1977) was an Anubhav Films Production. It was directed by Phani Majumdar. The movie had Vidya sinha, Parikshit Sahni, Vandana, Sajjan, Maruti, S.N.Tripathi, Aruna Irani, Shivaraj, Raj Kumar(the lesser known one ?), K.N.Singh etc in it.
