I had mentioned in my last post that I was journeying by train and I hoped to arrive at my destination in time to watch the world cup match between BCCI (Team India for the uninitiated and the gullible) and South Africa on TV.

First came “Mother India”(1957) and then came “Son Of India”(1962). Both were produced by Mehboob Khan. Title role in Mother India was played by Nargis whereas the titkle role in “Son of India” was played by Sajid Khan. This Sajid Khan is different from the Sajid Khan that we are familiar with. The lady looked very graceful and sophisticated.
