I was not aware of this movie called “Shrimatiji” (1952). This movie stars Nasir Khan and Shyama. And it is interesting to discover that Nasir Khan was the brother of Dilip Kumar !

This movie “Madhosh” (1951) was one of the earliest movies of Madan Mohan as a music director and also Meena Kumari as an actress. This movie had Manhar Desai, Meena Kumari and Usha Kiran in lead roles.

Here is a superb “party song” from “Anita” (1966). I wonder if this should be called a cabaret song as well. It seems that the dance was supposed to be cabaret but the costumes of the dancers is very much that of classical dancers.

Madan Mohan, who made his debut as a music director in 1950, began to deliver classy songs right from his debut movie viz “Ankhen”. His subsequent movie, viz “Madhosh” saw Madan Mohan create a remarkable song in the voice of Talat Mahmood.
