Sadhana was one of the biggest female star of her time in 1960s. But her aura was all but gone by late 1960s and 1970s. Today (30 august) is the birth anniversary of Shailenedra (30 august 1923- 14 deceember 1966). It is unimaginable but true that Shailendra lived to an age of only 43 ! The body of work that he had built up by that time was so imposing that he was already a legend by that time.
