The 1967 film, ‘Woh Koi Aur Hoga’, is a production under the banner of Amrit Kala Mandir, and is directed by A Shamsheer. The films is an action drama with a star cast that includes Feroze Khan, Mumtaz, Sohrab Modi, Dhumal, Asit Sen, Meenakshi and Sham Kumar. The primary singing voice is that of Mohammed Rafi, with interleaved expression of annoyance and exasperation by Mumtaz. The lyrics are by Asad Bhopali, and the music is composed by Usha Khanna.

I had mentioned in an earlier discussion that Helen’s aspirations (if any) of playing mainstream rolers in Hindi movies (where mainstream roles means donning a sari /salwar kurta etc and singing songs that are the preserve of leading ladies) were realised on movies like “Cha Cha Cha” (1964) and “Lahu Ke Do Rang” (1979). She in fact won the Filmfare award for best supporting actress too, for her role in “Lahu Ke Do Rang” (1979).

“Simla Road” (1969) is a quintessential B grade movie which was forgotten almost as soon as it was released. This movie had Dev Kumar and Sarita in lead roles. Dev Kumar later found himself playing roles of villain’s henchman, whereas Sarita vanished from movies without a trace.
