Ham kyaa bataayen tumse kyun door ho gaye hain

We have seen songs picturised on Raj Kapoor that were sung mostly by Mukesh, but sometimes by other playback singers as well. For example, there were occasions when Rafi, Manna Dey, Talat Mehmood etc have sung for Raj Kapoor. In fact, in a few early movies, Raj Kapoor sang for himself !
Here is a song where another voice sings for Raj Kapoor. The movie is “Jaan Pehchaan” (1950) and the singer is Shankar Dasgupta. His voice is nice and soothing to listen to.
Shakeel Badayuni wrote the song and Khemchand Prakash came up with this superb musical score.

Really very upset that a song I have been longing to hear since 50 years has been removed. Absolutely a fantastic song of Shankardas Gupta. he has also sung a duet with Lata Mangeshkarji, from Girl’s School, Any chance of posting it ??.
