Bahaaron ne jise chhedaa hai

on:Radio songs where a long lost individual sings live on radio station and his beloved just happens to be listening to that very radio station- this was one variation of lost and found themes that Hindi movies have been so fond of.
We have seen one such radio song( Zindagi bhar nahin bhoolegi wo barsaat ki raat) in “Barsaat Ki Raat” (1960). Such radio songs have been there right from the time talkies and radios have been in existence. And these two forms of communications have been in existence since 1930s.
Here is one of the first radio songs from Hindi movies. It is from “Sunahre Din” (1949). Here Raj Kapoor sings in a radio station. Rehana opens her radio set and the song begins, right from the very beginning. How do Hindi movie actors to time the opening of their radio sets to such perfection ? And how come they receive their signals to loud and clear. In real life situation, one would be lucky to listen to any radio broadcast without distortion/disturbance.
This song is sung by Mukesh. Shewan Rizvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Gyan Dutt.

Song-Bahaaron ne jise chhedaa hai (Sunahre Din) (1949) Singer-Mukesh, Lyrics-Shewan Rizvi, MD-Gyan Dutt
Lyrics
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa hai
wo saaj-e-jawaani hai
zamaanaa sun rahaa hai jisko
zamaanaa sun rahaa hai jisko
wo meri kahaani hai
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa
samjha ke kisi ko
jab kabhi apna banaaungaa
chaman ki daaliyon se
laaliyaan phoolon ki laaungaa
sitaaron ke chiraaghon se
phir is ghar ko sajaaungaa
ki is duniyaa mein mujhko
ek nayi duniyaa basaani hai
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa
chaman mein sabne hi gaayaa
taraanaa zindaagaani kaa
magar sabse alag thaa rang
meri hi kahaani kaa
fasaanaa is qadar rangeen thaa
meri jawaani kaa
ki jisne bhi sunaa
kahne lagaa meri kahaani hai
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa
koi samjhe naa samjhe
main kahe detaa hoon duniyaa se
ki main duniyaa mein hoon
matlab nahin rakhtaa hoon duniyaa se
kabhi kuchh dil mein aataa hai
to kah detaa hoon duniyaa se
meri aawaaz hi meri tamannaa ki nishaani hai
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa
zamaanaa sun rahaa hai jisko
wo meri kahaani hai
bahaaron ne jise chhedaa

Can somebody please tell me the name of the other lady in this song – Baharon ne jise chheda – (other than Rehana). I read someplace that it is Nigar Sultana. She doesn’t look like her. Nigar does appear elsewhere in the film and she can be instantly recognized but not this lady. Thanks in advance.
