Dil toot ke bolaa

I was aware of a movie called “Hanste Zakhm” but not “Hanste Aansoo” . It turns out that this movie called “Hanste Aansoo” (1950) had the “distinction” of becoming the first ever Hindi movie to get an “Adults” certificate for this movie. 🙂
Very little is known about this movie, except that this movie had Motilal, Madhubala, Manorama, Gope, Jankidas, Mirza Musharaff etc in it. This Akash Chitra production was directed by K B Lall.
Here is a superb song from this movie. This song is sung by Lata. Shewan Rizvi is the lyricist. Music is composed by Ghulam Mohammad. Only the audio of this song is available, and the audio of this upload, but one can guess that this song is picturised on Madhubala.

It is not true that thiswas the first movie to get “Adults” certification. If this movie was released in 1950, we know for sure that Barsaat was certified “for Adults only” in 1949.
