“Kaajal” (1948) is a by now obscure movie. This movie had actors like Wasti,Suraiyya,Jayant,amir Bano,Gope,Ram Kamlani,Cuckoo,Sharda etc in it.
I have discussed two songs from this movie in the past. Here is another song from this movie. This song is sung by Suraiyya. Though only the audio of this song is available, it is eas to guess that the song is picturised on Suraiyya herself.
Ghulam Mohammad is the music director. The lyricist is not known. I request our knowledgeable readers to tell us about the lyricist of this “missing the beloved” song.

The lyricists for this films are D N Madhok and Shakeel Badayuni. However they have not clearly stated which song belongs to whom. Even the HMV record of Din pe din is silent about the lyricist.
