“Bahaadur” (1953) was a Ranjit Film Company Production. It was directed by Ratibhai Punatkar. The movie had Roopmala, Amarnath, Suresh, Shyama, Anwar Hussein, Shammi etc in it.
Here is a delightful duet from this movie. It is sung by Ashima Bannerji and Rafi. Surjeet Sethi is the lyricist and music is composed by S Mohinder.
Only the audio of this song is available so it is difficult to guess how and on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on this matter.

hamaari muhabbat
hamaara zamaana
hamaari muhabbat
hamaara zamaana
sitaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
nigaahon mein shokhi
labon pe taraana
nigaahon mein shokhi
labon pe taraana
sitaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
hamaari muhobbat
hamaara zamaana
muhobbat ka dil mein
diyaa jal padaa
aa aa aa
jahaan jagmagaaya
jahaan jagmagaaya
nigaahon ne pal mein
ye kya gul khilaaya
aa aa aa
dil aankhon mein aaya
dil aankhon mein aaya
fizaaon ne mera hi naghma jo gaaya
chaman muskuraaya
chaman muskuraaya
lutaaya khushi ka
jo ham ne khazaana
lutaaya khushi ka
jo ham ne khazaana
sitaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
hamaari muhobbat
hamaara zamaana
koyi pyaar ki zindagi ban ke aaya
aa aa aa
hai dil mein samaaya
hai dil mein samaaya
jawaani ka naghma
jo honthon pe aaya
aa aa aa
ke aalam sa chhaayaa
ke aalam sa chhaayaa
zameen hil gayee
aasmaan thartharaaya
yeh kya kar dikhaaya
yeh kya kar dikhaaya
sunaaya dilon ne
jaadoo ka taraana
sunaaya dilon ne
jaadoo ka taraana
sitaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
bahaaron ne dekha
hamaari muhabbat
hamaara zamaana
hamaari muhabbat
hamara zamaana
hamaari muhabbat
hamaara zamaana

Atul ji,
BAHADUR-1953 was a costume drama. This film was directed by Rathibhai Punatar who had earlier directed NILI-50,starring Devanand and Suraiyya. He directed some 10 films in all.
There were 6 lyricists for the 8 songs in this film. They were Rajendra krishna,Sarashar Sailani(real name Bhim sen),Raja mehdi ali khan,Firoz Jalundhari, surjit sethi and Kunwar M.S.Bedi.
Dewan Zorawar(Anwar Hussain) was was the real ruler and the king was only a puppet in his hands.Zorawar was oppressive and wanted to take away the land of peasants of Motipur. The villagers resisted. In the ensuing fight,Zorawar kills the Mukhiya of Motipur.the mukhiya’s daughter Bahar(Shyama) is sad.Her brother Nihal(Amarnath) is in love with a dancer Gulab(Roopmala) and needs money,so joins hands with Zorawar.
The people of motipur hold a meeting to plan strategy.A masked man Bahadur(who is Bahar-Shyama-in disguise) appears and promises to lead them.Zorawar, who wants to become the king and marry the princess, declares a prize of 5000/- for Bahadur’s capture.Bahadur visits the princess and explains to her that he is against Zorawar who wants to marry Princess, but she is in love with Randhir(Suresh),the Army chief. In one instance Bahar meets Randheer and they fall in love. The princess tries to be a spoilsport but realises their true love soon.
Zorawar makes Nihal the Mukhiya, but Bahadur steals his appointment ‘sanad’.Bahadur is captured and challenged by Zorawar. There is a sword fight and Bahadur kills Zorawar.
The king makes Bahadur the new Dewan, but Bahar reveals the truth. She and Randheer marry. Thus the saga of Bahadur ends.
