“Heer” (1956) was a Filmistan Production. It was directed by Hamid Dutt (?) and the starcast included names viz Pradeep Kumar, Nutan, Ulhas, Darpan, S. L. Puri, Randhir, Krishna Kumari, Zohra Sehgal, Chaman Puri, Mubarak, Murad, Rashid Khan, Lalita Pawar, Shakuntala etc.
As many as four songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is another song from the movie. This song is sung by Geeta Dutt. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist and music is composed by Anil Biswas.

What a lovely song. Geeta Dutt has a way of making a song really cute and special. Add to that the wonderful expressions of Nutan. The music of Anil da and the simple yet beautiful lyrics of Majrooh is the icing on the cake. Thanks Atul ji.

HEER-1956 was directed by HAMID BHATT,who was a story,s/play and Dialogue writer with Filmistan for some time.
He had written the story of Aandhiyan-52,S/Play of Nagin-54,S/Play and dialogues of Samrat-54.
Hamid also wrote the S/play and story of Heer-56.
This was a story of the famous Heer and Ranjha,which was the base for more than 20 films so far.
