I have mentioned it in my previous post that I am at present visually hamstrung. I am unable to see what I am typing since I have forgotten my glasses at home. There are terms like touch typing, typing with two fingers etc, and I suppose I can add another term, viz typing by guesswork as well. I can barely see the letters on the keyboard but I am an experienced keyboard warrior and so my fingers tend to move to the correct keys almost like second nature. So I hope that I am typing correctly without too many typos.
I have chosen this song to discuss because the lyrics and links of this song have been checked by me (when I had my glasses on 🙂 ). This song is from “Kora Kaghaz” (1974) and it is a lovely song from a movie which dealtwith marital problems of a regular normal couple. Normaly it is the wife who is more into the “Roothna” and the husband has to cajole her into coming out of that mood, but here the roles are reversed. It is the husband who is sulking and the task of “Manaaoing” him falls on the wife.
The lyrics of the song (by M G Hashmat) are quite cute and fun to listen to. Lata has sung this song nicely. Music by Kalyanji Anandji adds to the listening pleasure.
This is one song that needs to be viewed in addition to being heard, but unfortunately the video link of this song is no longer available. When it was available, it was only a portion of the entire song. The song is picturised on Jaya Bhaduri and Vijay Anand.
