Jeewan sapna toot gayaa

“Anokha Pyaar” (1948) was an Ambika Films Production. The movie was directed by M I Dharamsi. The movie had Dilip Kumar, Nargis, Nalini Jaywant, Mukri, Uma Devi etc in it.
As many as five songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
On the occasion of Mukesh’s death anniversary (27 august), here is a song from “Anokha Pyaar” (1948). The song is sung by Mukesh and it is picturised on Dilip Kumar.
This song has a female version too which is sung by Lata and it is picturised on Nalini Jaiwant.
Zia Sarhadi is the lyricist and music is composed by Anil Biswas.

This song was composed by Anil Biswas with K L Saigal in mind who was a close friend from 1930, but Anil Da’s biggest regret was that he could not get a film where he could direct Saigal. He used this song on Mukesh.
