birah ki aag lagi morey mann mein

birah ki aag lagi morey mann mein
birah ki aag lagi morey mann mein
chhaayi badariya kaari kaari
phool khilen baari baari
pyaar ke bina pyaar ki raaten
pyar ke bina pyaar ki raaten
koyal kookat bann mein
birah ki aag lagi morey
birah ki aag lagi morey mann mein

It is said handsome people(HP) have attractive traits and so they are able to ride their luck. HP may not be necessarily talented, but being attractive they are the first choice even if they are little talented; if they turn out to be talented then sone pe suhaga. Other than HP they need to be outstandingly talented to get a peep-in.
Imagine you’ve just witnessed a traffic accident. There are two victims, one you find attractive, the other less so. Which of the two victims would you help first?
Or, imagine you have to hire someone to work for your company. They both have identical qualifications and experience, but one you find attractive, the other less attractive. Who would you hire?
How we perceive people differently based on their appearance? Well we not only perceive them differently, we also treat attractive people more favorably than we do less attractive people.
So Surendra rode his luck and galloped in leaps and bounds

Atul ji,
It is true that Surendra was very lucky to get first chance as a hero in Sagar’s ‘Deccan Queen’-1936,in his very first visit to the film company to seek a job.He is one of those rare artists who did not have to do any struggle in the industry, that too without any God father or relative to help him.
His first song, however, was ‘ Yaad na kar dil e haji bhooli hui kahaniyan’
The above song was a parody on the famous Saigal song of Devdas-35,’ Balam aaye baso mere dil mein.’
With this song, sung in almost saigal style,Surendra became very popular overnight and he always thanked Pransukh Nayak MD for this opportunity.
