Haaye re duniya

Posted on: December 27, 2012

“Zeenat” (1945) was produced by Sheth Shiraz Ali Hakim and Ramzanali S Lakhani and directed by Shaukat Hussain Rizvi. This movie had Noorjahaan, Karan Dewan, Yakub, Dixit, Majid, Himalaywala, Naseem Jr, Agha Salim Raza, Leela Mishra etc.

Three songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the fourth song from this movie. This song is sung by a then struggling playback singer called Mohammad Rafi. This song is one of the first solo songs that he got to sing in his career.

Nakshab is the lyricist. There were two music directors in this movie, viz Hafiz Ali Khan and Meer Sahab. This song is composed by Hafiz Ali Khan.

Only the audio of this song is available. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on the picturisation of this song.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by nahm.
