Aa palkon mein aa

Posted on: February 12, 2013

“Mad Bhare Nain”(1955) was produced by R L Anand and directed by Hem Chundar. The movie had Kishore Kumar, Bina rai, David, Durga Khote, Nazir Hussain, Achala Sachdev etc in it.

Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the third song from the movie. This song is sung by Lata. Shailendra is the lyricist. Music is composed by S D Burman.

Only the audio of this song is available. My guess is that this song was picturised on Bina Rai. I request our knowledgeable readers to throw more light on the picturisation of this song.

Song-Aa palkon mein aa (Mad Bhare Nain)(1955) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Shailendra, MD-S D Burman

Lyrics

aa aa
palkon mein aa
sapne sajaa
aa aa
behosh raaton ki nindiya churaa aa
aa aa
palkon mein aa
sapne sajaa
aa aa
behosh raaton ki nindiya churaa aa
aa aa
palkon mein aa

o o o
is raagini ko
bheegi huyi chaandni gaa rahi hai
mere dhadakte dil se usi ki
sada aa rahi hai
aa
palkon mein aa
sapne sajaa aa
aa aa
behosh raaton ki nindiya churaa aa aa
aa aa
palkon mein aa

o o o
ye pyaas kaisi hai
aakar ye jalte sitaaron se pooch lo
bechainiyaan meri har pal machalti
bahaaron se pooch le
aa
palkon mein aa
sapne sajaa aa
aa
behosh raaton ki nindiya churaa aa aa
aa aa
