In my last post I hoped that Saanp se badhke mera zehar hai would be the last song entry for Zehreela Insaan (1974). Prakashji, with his infinite knowledge of Hindi film songs, though threw water on this hope, when he showed me the existence of this song. Thanks Prakashji! 🙂
I couldn’t find any video of this song in internet. This gives reason to assume that the song might have not been filmed and if yes, then it might have been edited from the last print. One can surely assume from the lyrics that the song was destined to be picturised on the main character of the film played by Rishi Kapoor.
In this song, true to his role of a rebel in the film, he rouses the children to fight injustice and be polite to nice people. So here goes!

Main toh bahut Khush ho gayaa nayaa ganaa sunnke.
Thanks for the rare song, I have never heard this particular song and I think there is no such situation,where this song fits into the story plot of the Kannada Langauage movie, which I have seen.
This song may have been picturised in Akhadaa , where Rishi always goes. There is one Akhaada scene where Hero`s Kushti Guru(In Hindi- Dara singh enacted that role)supports his Chhelaa. Just a point, this observation I have made through my fertile imagination.Its a pure guess work. I may be wrong.

Well, I’m not always Ziddi but like to see things finished properly. Bahut boori adat hai!
Abhi Teesra Kaun ke gaane bhi post kiye hain, taaki woh film bhi complete ho jaaye.
The Akhada scene seems to be quite appropriate. It has beena long time since I saw the movie. So I don’t remember!

Here is the actual video of the song.
Funny that it should be at the beginning of the film when the credits roll in. Maybe they didn’t find any appropriate situation for the film. So they thought, why waste it and put it at the beginning.
