Itna to bata de ae dil

The popularity of characters such as Tarzan shows that there is a child within all human beings, no matter how much they grow up physically. The fact that there have been so many movies on the theme of characters like Tarzan and Zimbo means that this theme must have paid off for the makers of these movies.
The first Hindi movies on “Zimbo” was “Zimbo”(1958). It was followed by “Zimbo comes to town” (1960) and subsequently “Zimbo finds a son” (1966). 🙂
As the title character growns upamong animals so he is not supposed to be able to talk and sing songs to his lady love. So that would necessitate a reversal of roles in these movies and the ledaing lady of such movies, properly brought up among filmy human families would be courting Zimbo by singing several songs throughout the movie.
“Zimbo” (1958) has been represented in this blog while the subsequent “Zimbo” movies have so far gone unrepresented. To make amends, here is a song from “Zimbo Comes to Town” (1960). This song is sung by Lata. It is picturised on Chitra and Azad.
