Unhe kho kar unhi ki aarzoo hai…wo kuchh aur bhi yaad aane lage hain

Posted on: August 24, 2013

“Aarzoo” (1950) was an Indian National Production movie. It was directed by Shahid Latif. The movie had Dilip Kumar, kamini Kaushal, Dilip Kumar, Gope, Cuckoo, Arif, Prem Dhawan, Shashikala, Sita Bose, Neelam, Khan, Ganju, Chandabai etc in it.

Seven songs from this movie have been discussed in the past. Here is the eighth song from the movie.

This song is a melancholic missing the beloved genre of song. It is sung by Lata. Majrooh Sultanpuri is the lyricist. Music is composed by Anil Biswas.

Only the audio of this song is available but it is clear that the song was picturised on Kamini Kaushal.

Lyrics of this song were sent to me by Nitin Shah.

Song-Unhen kho kar unhi ki aarzoo hai…wo kuchh aur bhi yaad aane lage (Aarzoo)(1950) Singer-Lata, Lyrics-Majrooh Sultanpuri, MD-Anil Biswas

Lyrics(Provided by Nitin Shah)

unhen kho kar unheen ki aarzoo hai
kis liye dil ko o
hai kaun aisa
jo abb aasaan kar de ae
meri mushqil ko o

unhen ham jo dil se bhulaane lage ae
unhen ham jo dil se bhulaane lage ae
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad aane lage ae
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad

na poochho,
na poochho,
hamein kya huaa aa
na poochho,
na poochho,
hamein kya huaa
lagi thhes
aansoo bahaane lage
lagi thhes
aansoo bahane lage ae
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad

jiye haay mar-mar ke ham kiss tarah
jiye haay mar-mar ke ham kiss tarah
chale naa aur dagmagaane lage ae
chale naa aur dagmagaane lage
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad

zamaana hua jinko beete woh din
zamaana hua jinko beete woh din
ghataa ban ke aankhon mein chhaane lage ae
ghataa ban ke aankhon mein chhaane lage ae
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad aane lage ae
woh kuchh aur bhi yaad

Atul ji,
Now only the last song ” Kahan tak hum uthayen ghum”- Lata, is remaining to finish all songs of Aarzoo-1950.
