“Banjaarin” (1960) was a Ratan Pictures prooduction. It was directed by Jaswant Jhaweri. The movie had Manhar Desai, Kanchan Kamini, Sundar, Dalpat, Lalita Kumari etc in it.
Two songs from this movie have been discussed in the past.
Today (27 august 2013) is the 37th death anniversary of Mukesh (22 july 1923- 28 august 1976). On this occasion, we in this blog are discussing a few songs sung by Mukesh.
Here is a song from “Banjaarin” (1960). This song is sung by Mukesh and Geeta Dutt. Pt Madhur is the lyricist. Music is composed by Pardesi.
I am unable to identify the actors on whom this song is picturised. I request our knowledgeable readers to help identify them.

One character artiste Lalita Kumari is there(Abhiman-Amitabh`s aunty like fan,chupke chupke-in the role of Sharmila Tagore`s teacher/warden,Guddi-as Head Mistress of the school,Ram Lakhan-AmarishPUui`s wife,Thodisi Bewaffai-nagging neighbour etc), But the actress in the song is not that LALITA KUMARI.
She must be KANCHAN KAMINI, I am not sure, Its my guess work(or may be another young artiste namely LALITA KUMARI)
